Dreamweaver 004 - The Fishes in the Bowl~

"Don't come near me" she said.
She glared.
Her gaze sharpened.

Frail, she shivered.
There's so much anger in her.

"One step closer, and i will do it".

She must know what trust is.
Then i will be the one to teach her.

He took another step.
Her grip tightened around her blade.

I won't tell you to calm down.
I won't waste any more words on you.

He takes another step.
And she takes aim.
Gently, to cause no alarm, he places his hands on her shoulders.
"Let me go" she says.
But he refused to listen.
The tip of her blade presses against his chest.
"You should not lay a hand on me"
He looked her in the eyes,
This i can do for you

She trembles as his hands slid down her arms,
and traced the arch of her back.
"Please don't do this..."
He pulls her closer, gently, and caresses his cheek against hers,
as the blade finally penetrated his skin.

The warmth of his body, his blood on her hands...
One of us will lose their resolve.
"It won't be me..."
I pray to God that what you do is true.
If i chose not to believe, then you will truly have no one.
He draws her closer, and the blade thrusts deeper...

"Why are you doing this?"
If you're resolve is true, let me be the one to uphold it.
If this is the burden you carry, let me help you bear it.
Let me uphold you.

"But i may be wrong-"
Too late
He pulls her near, and his strength began to weaken.
At this point, the last thing i want to hear from you is doubts in your actions.

His legs began to falter, and he slowly falls to the ground.
I give you, myself. Abuse it and you shall never feel this privileged again.
His vision began to blur,
His senses began to dim.
His grip began to loosen,
His consciousness fades away.

The only thing i can hold on to now, is the scent of your hair.

And they held each other close. With only the stars as their witnesses.
Their miniscule warm gaze observed from a distance,
As how we do fishes in a bowl.
